| Re: Mesosilver Blue_Mags 01:25:12 |
| | I like mesosilver and I use it frequently.
I'd like to share my experience with it. But first, just to clarify some things- there are three types of silver on the market today. 'Ionic' silver is the one that causes argyria (the blue skin syndrome). Mesosilver is not ionic. Then there are silver proteins. Mesosilver is not a protein. Mesosilver is a true colloidal which is pure silver particles suspended in water. There are simple tests to determine which is which. The ionic and protein silvers (both extremely cheap to make) are next to useless and completely deserve the snake oil title. Unfortunately, manufacturers are not required by law to list the contents of their products other than 'silver' so they market it as colloidal when its not and people have a disappointing experience with it.
Mesosilver kills almost every known pathogen (and some we don't know about I'll wager). I have used it for everything from scratches, insect bites, asthma attacks, burns, thrush, pink eye, strep throat, ear infections, food poisoning and skin infections and my whole family has not seen a doctor in 3 years (barring the time my daughter broke her arm). It also cleared my brother's glandular fever and my mother's MRSA (aka the super bug). I have heard of people watering their plants with it and having successes with different plant diseases but I have never tried that myself because at $40 per 16 oz bottle, you don't want to waste a drop.
I don't know if this has helped you at all but there you have it....
I hope you are having a great day,
Blue_Mags I hope this has helped
This is an all around killer of bacteria, viruses and fungi. It has actually been used extensively in hospitals, primarily for burn victims because it helps to prevent infection and scarring.

| US Vietnam Era Veterans Fred Grouell 03:35:40 |
| | Hi folks. I am a US Navy Vietnam war vet. I was a corpsman (worked in blood and broken bones ect). I have been in good health most of my life. In 1999 I suffered a work injury to my neck resulting in a cervical fusion in Jan 2002 by the VA. In 2003 I requested a Hep C test. Positive. Denial. Retested in 2004. Type III. Depression. Thanksgiving Biopsy results>stage 1. Biopsy was a pain. Post holidays TX began Jan 14 2005. Initial reaction included SEVERE chills. Muscle aches, joint pains, headaches, exhaustion, apatite disorders ( lack of, taste), and a horrible attitude. Chemo therapy is no fun (Pegasus). I finished my second bottle earlier this evening and am awaiting the 2am chills. Unfortunately the VA believes in no pain no gain, therefore I am directed to consume Tylenol for my pains. I figure vicaden is close enough ( thank God for friends). Anyway I plan to solace myself to some degree with this newsgroup. QUESTION: Has anyone here had experience with the Veterans Administration and Hep C ? I've been told and read that I may be eligible for disability. It seems quite a few Vietnam veterans have contracted this disease. One recently, 2002, received disability based on air gun inoculations received in boot camp. My case would seem a little more straight forward having had so much contact with blood and guts. I too received inoculations by air gun in boot camp at Orlando Fla. I've started the process of filing for disability but am perplexed at the system. The VA is currently covering the cost of my TX and RX. I'm also troubled by the thought of if I got this by contact in health care then I wonder how many I gave it to in the course of my 4 yrs Tx'ing people. Then there is the international thing. I participated in a military exercise called Springboard held in Puerto Rico annually for two years. Many foreign countries also participated and frequently had shore leave at our Enlisted men's club resulting in barroom brawls ( the Brits and Aussies are particularly memorable) and being treated at our US military hospital by a potentially infected health care worker. Me. Well enough dribbiling for now.

| Some good news Puckertoe 03:58:00 |
| | During my first TX my ALT (or is it AST?) never went below 65. So it was alwasy elevated. During the fisrt month of my relapse it went as high as 211. (egads!)
My last two tests showed that my ALT was below 60. That;s the best it's ever been since they started taking blood during March of 2004.
I know this can be subjective, but I'll take anything they got.
Yea for me!

| Ping: people with SVR's Michael Arends 18:48:13 |
| | Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering something, as it's being experienced by me. This is actually addressed to the people here that have gotten their SVR.
I'm coming up to my 6 month PCR, But something I've noticed, that I guess I'll have to ask BCLD , is that Most days I feel GREAT . But every so often, I have days (Like today) where I feel as if I'm back on tx almost. After a full nights sleep, I wake up and feel exhausted, have the big "D" when visiting the bathroom, and just feel tired and listless (almost sick like) all day. Then within a day or so, I'm back to normal and everything is ok.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Or is this something I should make a POINT of mentioning to my BCLD? -- *..· ´¨¨)) ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ .·´-:¦ ¸¸.·´(º·.¸(¨*·.¸ ¸.·*¨)¸.·º) «.·°·. Michael .·°·-:¦:-

| ping Dort: OT Road Cats? Kjoh 16:22:05 |
| | So hey baby have you yet figgered out how you will relocate 8+ cats from Austin to Abequerque?! ARent a winnebago (?), then Austin to El Paso then hang a right and north to Alb. I wish I was in the area, I would love to help transport 8 cats across southern Texas in the middle of August. Gad
I looked at the map and Albequeerkie is much closer to Missoula than Austin. If I drove due south to Flag, then hung a leftie, I could be in Albeequeer to say hi quick as a wink! Well maybe not THAT quick, but I am getting my stamina for road trips back. One never knows.
For those of you new to this hep c ash c gig, here is a photobucket page of some of our dearly beloved pets. Dort' eight little kitty babies are present in class. Anyone else got pets they want to show off? contact me: kjohyayhoo at yahoo.com

| Checking back in Old Pirate 19:00:33 |
| | Greetings to all, Just a little update. My first attempt at tx was cut short, I got one shot of Peg-Intron from the local pharm, along with a bottle of riba. This was early October. Then Fedex took 5 days to overnight my refrigerated meds and they arrived at 75 degrees F, and I was told NOT to take them. So while I was waiting on the re-ship, I was involved in a rollover accident, totalled my wife's Expedition, and my Gastro put tx on hold.
I am back on tx, starting over from square one on Dec 10, I have 2 shots done. For some reason, shot #2 did not affect me like #1, or the original first shot back in October. Both of those kicked my butt and I did little but lay on the couch for 24 hours. But I did the shot late Friday evening, and admittedly felt crappy at first Sat morninig, but after a bit of coffee and some food, I felt OK. Good enough to go out and do a little shopping. So I don't know if I got a weak shot or if I'm tolerating it better. I guess I'll see soon enough.
So far the 1000mg riba daily has not bothered me much. I'm working close to full time, but I have to pace myself, as I tire easily.
That's about it from here at the present. Happy Holidays and best wishes to the group.

| Diet and water Di Di 16:24:05 |
| | Hi - I know we're supposed to be eating healthy foods - lots of fruits and veggies and drinking lots of water - but I was wondering if anyone has any other ideas on what to eat and why? I eat pretty good, but could use more ideas/info. Also on drinking lots of water, I am drinking way more water than I have ever drunk before because the meds make me super-thirsty, but what are the other reasons they say we're supposed to drink lots of water? Does it help with the effectiveness of the meds or just help flush out our system? My doc says I should be drinking "gallons" of water every day, but I'm lucky if I drink a gallon.
