 Tinnitus and fishoil...

started a heavy dose of fish oil 8 capsules per day. Went to a pub with loud music instant tinnitus and severely damaged hearing. No doubt the loud music was more culprit but I have noticed tinnitus comes back harder when taking lots of fish oil and then going clubbing.

 Yes, I sure have...the same thing happens to me and it is sad that doctors don't believe you..in addition it causes hair thinning in me as well..have you found anything that works at reducing the tinnitus?

 I have noticed the same problem--taking fish oil (or eating fatty fish) then going drinking. I think what is happening here is that the omega 3s tend to thin the blood like alcohol does, leading to or exacerbating tinnitus.
