I feel a bit bad about asking this, as I'm not even diabetic, but my sister is and I'm sorta trying to do her a favour (though she doesn't know yet). Might be a dumb idea, so I'd really appreciate any feedback.
I've been buying generic impotence drugs for some time now, as I get perfect quality blister packed tablets for about a third of what it was costing me from the local pharmacy (although I have found that finding and sticking with a good supplier is a must - I don't trust the Indian generics). Anyway, I was browsing the site I use and saw that amongst other things, they sold a variety of diabetes drugs, including the one she takes - Avandia I think, though it may have been Actos. hmmmm - I'd better check. Anyway, I don't know what she pays for them now, but I know the cost is a burden for her and any reduction in cost would help. I'd like to suggest (or even buy for her) a supply of the generics to help, but would like a bit of background opinion from knowledgable folk who are (or aren't) buying generics for type II diabetes already. The site is http://budgetmedicines.com/default.php?ref=318 if you would like to see what the costs are. I would prefer to use this site because I have good experience with them, but would also appreciate hearing about other sites if they're even cheaper and people also have a good history with them.
Thanks for your help. I'm really sorry if this post was wrong for your group - I just know she's quite depressed about everything at the moment and thought it might be a little positive for her. Or maybe it's a stupid idea?

Yep, looks bad, you're right. And I totally understand why you're pissed off. However - I really do buy and use impotence drugs from the site and have done for well over a year. I have also used several other online sources and bought from a pharmacy here. Incidentally, this is for recreational use, which is actually quite a common practise. It has been so easy to purchase medications that I started thinking about the other items available... I really do have the sleep problems exactly as described and really did want advice about alternatives to the Temazepam prescribed by my doctor. I did get some good responses and consequently did not opt for the insomnia medication. I really do have a sister overseas who developed gestational diabetes. She is unhappy about her life at the moment and I was just wanting to think of things she might find useful or whether it was just be a silly idea. I raised the thought here and that was probably stupid of me. Like I said, I don't even know what exactly she's taking for it - I took a guess.
Okay, I am probably too ready to freely use and experiment with prescription medications. I've probably made about seven or eight posts that have mentioned the site I use in the last couple of months. I copy-pasted a link from my bookmarks - it includes a ref# which I should probably trim off. I really am a happy customer - but there you go.
Anyway, like I said, I can appreciate how it appears. I used your group as a sounding board for a half-baked thought and I really was interested in your opinions. I won't post here again, and I trust you can ignore this incident.

The only thing prescribed for GD, besides diet and exercise, is insulin.

Many of buy overseas - but only from sources that we know someone else has experience with. LOTS of scam sites. The one you post does NOT look good, but neither does it look as bad as many. Prices are rather high though.
If you were a regular on the group, we might be interested, but people who just drop in to recommend a commercial site are ASKING to get flamed!

speaking of buying overseas. I can't get insulin from my regular source in Italy, because they don't trust the mails for that long.
Anyone have a good price on Insulin from closer, probably Canada?
I get my "R" from WalMart for $18.79 but I have to pay over $31 for my "L". I should be able to get it from Canada for around $20 I think Maybe less. I don't care what the brand is, the activity curves are almost identical.

sure we'll ignore it, since it has already been reported to your ISP is Australia, which makes things look even more suspicious since they provide better prescription coverage than most places.
