I was wondering what side-effects others have. I have found my breast have got really sore. Was on it once before and had a mammoplasty - when they cut me open milk poured out. I think I am becoming a cow... tinkerbell

I've been on Solian for 6 years. It's the only anti-psychotic that's worked for my bipolar. I get a bit of milky stuff coming out my nipples, but it's not too bothersome for me. I think it's because it affects prolactin hormone or something, not sure. I've tried olanzipine, abilify, stelazine and seroquel, and the solian is brilliant. It really helps. I hope it helps you.

You're correct Lar, its the ol' prolactic levels making me into a cow. I am not being as dilligent taking my second dose of the day accidently on purpose.

To whom it may concern, I have been forced to take solian for almost 3 months whom I am not having pshchosis. Can u tell me what is the side effect? {censored} Yeung
Solian is a good drug. in terms of specificity to the brain receptors is is very specific to dopamine which is directly involved in schiz. Unlike other drugs it does not act on the other receptors so technically there should be lesser side-effects. Prolactin elevation is one of the more common side-effects of Solian. However, this is less bothersome than weight gain and side-effects in the blood. Another benefit of solian is its price. compared to the other atypical antipsychotics it is the cheapest in the market.
I have been taking solian for about a month now and i already have sore {censored} and milk pouring from the nipples!! Also, i barely had a period - it only came for a few hours - but the pain was practically UNBEARABLE. i guess it was because my body was fighting for me to have a period and the solian, as to speak, didn't want me to get my period... At the beginning of treatment i had extreme fatigue but that was because i was taking 400mg. now i've only been taking 100mg for the past 2~3 weeks but the milk just recently appeared. i don't know how high my prolactin level will be because my blood test result is not out yet. anyway, those are my experiences up till now with solian... but i guess i'm going to stop taking solian. and yes, tinkerbell, when i first experienced the milk coming out, the image of a cow appeared in my mind... that's so true...!!
