Nauseated, anxious

Millipede Man 26 June 2006 09:09:56
Lately, I'm almost always slightly nauseated. Not close to throwing up, but
enough to be irritating and to reduce my appetite.

Right now, I'm very anxious. Increased OCD-like symptoms, for example:
Repeatedly checking, in a given order, that everything is ready when I
leave my apartment: stove off, keys in pocket, trash with me if I need to
take it out, and everything that I need for work or wherever I'm going. I
check this a few times by physical inspection, and then go over it a few
more times in my mind until I'm completely satisfied that I haven't missed
anything. The same routine when I leave my truck.

*That* needs attention, both from your primary physician
and your pdoc (who needs to know about the OCD symptoms also)

I don't know how bad the latter are (to you) I've had
touches of OCD symptoms, but never really disabling and
they did tend to come and go, no rhyme or reason that I
could see.

I wish I had ideas about eliminate unwanted the thoughts
Sometimes I have distracted myself from some trains of
thought by reading something of moderate difficulty
and taking notes as if a test were upcoming.

I got some groceries today. I used to feel rather bad
when I would get home after being out. I took the
elevator instead of the stairs and it's not as evident
today. So if feeling better means I have to wimp out
on stairs, so be it. I walked some miles yesterday,
no more than one toda

My experiences, FWIW.

I'm pretty sure it's one of the meds I'm taking that is causing the
discomfort. It isn't bad enough to be a serious problem.

I've had OCD symptoms for as long as I can remember. I think the
symptoms were reduced when I was on Zoloft/Celexa/Lexapro. Now, with
Wellbutrin, the OCD symptoms are coming back.

Here it is too hot in the daytime to exercise outdoors.
