 Hi Rainbow,

I have found a fix for this problem.

Do a search on your system for the following file...

CSS-DVP.SYS

Try renaming it to something like CSS-DVP.SY1 or CSS-DVP.OLD

Then reboot your system and see if you still have the same problem.

This worked for me, and after running my system for a while with-out any
problems, I deleted the file from the sys.

Let me know if it worked for you.

BTW, I did have Command Software's Freedom Internet Security on my system
at one time, but did not like it. I deleted it, but it left this old file
behind. It was what was causing the annoying start-up msg, everytime I
booted into XP.

Hope it works for you!

Jim
